Paul and Faith, the founders of My Reseller Genie, have been happily married for seven years. Faith is a reseller and Paul is an accountant and programmer with a background in business and entrepreneurship.
As Faith’s reselling business began to grow back in 2018, she struggled with finding an effective and easy way to account for her business, so Paul decided to create a basic Excel spreadsheet to help her.
After interacting in different online reselling groups, Faith soon realized that she was not the only reselling business that was struggling with the bookkeeping aspect of her business.
So when the pandemic struck, it seemed like the perfect time to begin working on a more advanced version of Paul’s original spreadsheet to offer to the seller community.
Together, Paul and Faith created My Reseller Genie - an affordable software for resellers. While My Reseller Genie began as a software built with Microsoft Excel and VBA, it was apparent that a web app would be able to serve more resellers. In November 2021, My Reseller Genie online was launched.
Our desire from day one has been to help take the fear, stress, and unknowns away that sellers experience when it comes to their accounting and taxes.
Since launching, My Reseller Genie has added multiple integrations, improved ease of use, and countless other improvements to help sellers more effectively handle the bookkeeping aspect of their businesses.
